Developer danielblnc has released version 0.8.0 of the DLSS-NR-on-AMD mod, which enables NVIDIA DLSS features on AMD Radeon RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 graphics cards. The suite, now branded as Neural Rendering Supermod, includes a NeuralHub interface for managing game configurations and DLSS dynamic link libraries.

The mod implements a neural network environment tailored for AMD architecture, including HIP compute kernels and specific memory layouts. Key features enabled for AMD users include DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution 4.5, and DLSS 5 neural rendering. It also supports DLSS Frame Generation with up to 4x multi-frame generation.

Community testing on a system with a Radeon RX 9070 XT and Ryzen 7 9700X in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p with path tracing showed functional Ray Reconstruction. However, the developer notes that performance varies by configuration and game. The mod does not distribute proprietary NVIDIA DLL files, requiring users to provide their own.

System requirements include Windows 11, AMD Adrenalin 26.1.1 or newer, and DirectX 12 support. While RDNA 2 support remains experimental, the update also adds FSR 4.1.1 upscaling. The project is unofficial and experimental, meaning compatibility and performance are not guaranteed across all titles or hardware setups.
