Berlin-based startup Integral has secured €18 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was co-led by Mosaic Ventures and Reid Hoffman, with additional support from Cherry Ventures, General Catalyst, and Puzzle Ventures. This latest injection of capital brings the company's total funding to over €30 million.

Founded in 2024 by Lukas Zorner and Anil Can Baykal, Integral provides accounting, tax, and payroll services to small and medium-sized businesses. The company operates through a hybrid model that combines AI agents with licensed professionals. The AI handles routine tasks such as reconciling transactions and preparing filings, while licensed experts review and approve the final output.

The company currently utilizes its platform to manage end-to-end bookkeeping for more than half of its clients. According to Integral, this automation has reduced the average monthly turnaround time from weeks to hours. Furthermore, the firm reports that its licensed professionals have doubled their client capacity since the beginning of the year.

Integral intends to use the new funds to expand its workforce across AI engineering, commercial, and professional teams. The company also plans to enhance its automation capabilities and further develop its proprietary compliance technology. The startup aims to address labor shortages in the German accounting sector by increasing the efficiency of individual professionals.
