Paris-based startup Inbolt has secured €11 million in a funding round led by Shift4Good, with participation from Bridges Climate Transition Partners, BNP Paribas Développement, and Ora Global. This latest investment brings the company's total funding to €30 million. The capital will support the firm's expansion into the US market, following the opening of a Detroit office in 2026, as well as growth in the APAC region.

The company plans to enter two new sectors: data centers and electronics manufacturing. Inbolt, founded in 2019 by Rudy Cohen, Albane Dersy, and Louis Dumas, provides a hardware-agnostic AI software layer combined with 3D vision. This technology allows industrial robots to perceive their environment and adjust control loops in real time, addressing issues like part misalignment and tooling wear that cause production downtime.

The Inbolt system is compatible with major robot platforms, including FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Comau, and Universal Robots. It can be deployed on both new and existing production lines. Currently, the solution is in use on more than 200 robots across over 100 factories on three continents. Notable clients include Bosch, Beko, Flex, Ford, Stellantis, and Toyota.
