London-based fintech startup IMMIX has raised €3.12 million in a new funding round. The investment was supported by Crane Ventures, BTSE, and Portfolio Ventures. This follows a previous seed round of €2.5 million, which was led by MassMutual Ventures with participation from Ripple Ventures in late 2023.
Founded by Dr. Andrew Mann and Dr. David Twomey, IMMIX develops infrastructure for stablecoin payments, focusing on currency conversion outside the US dollar market. The company aims to simplify the process of exchanging stablecoins, which currently often requires multiple separate trades, fees, and prefunding requirements.
The startup utilizes a deep-learning model to forecast market conditions across more than 10,000 instruments. According to the company, its systems have processed over €22.3 billion in customer trading volume since 2024. The solution allows payment companies to consolidate multiple currency legs into a single transaction.
The newly acquired capital will be directed toward developing the company’s AI-powered pricing engine, increasing available liquidity, and expanding its partner distribution network. IMMIX is currently seeking partnerships with payment service providers, money transfer operators, and stablecoin issuers.
