Chinese tech firm Iluvatar CoreX has showcased its new Tiangai 300 GPU, claiming performance metrics that match or exceed those of the Nvidia H200 in specific AI workloads. The demonstration took place in Shanghai, where the company presented testing results to media representatives.

During standard configuration tests, the Tiangai 300 achieved a throughput 1.05 times higher than the Nvidia H200. The device also demonstrated superior performance in complex multimodal tasks, such as text-to-image and text-to-video generation using large language models like Zhipu AI's GLM-5.3.

The Nvidia H200 remains a key high-performance accelerator currently permitted for import into mainland China under existing US export regulations. Iluvatar CoreX, which listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in January 2026, continues to develop domestic alternatives to Nvidia hardware.
