Huawei has initiated the rollout of the HarmonyOS 7.0.0.111SP8 update for the Pura X View smartphone. The system update package is approximately 7.26 GB in size. Users can check for the update manually through the system settings menu, though Huawei is distributing the software in batches.

The update introduces cross-device connectivity with iPhones via the Harmony Xinghe Interconnect application, enabling message flow, device location, and network sharing. Additionally, the system now supports multi-user communication sharing among devices running HarmonyOS 7, including phones, tablets, and computers, to improve network stability in areas with poor signal.

New features include a 'view once' option for content shared via AirDrop, which is triggered by rotating a clenched fist away from the screen. The MeeTime walkie-talkie function now includes a friend-finding tool that provides guidance to locate contacts nearby during real-time location sharing.

The update adds a live window sharing feature, allowing users to share live window cards via Huawei Share or MeeTime. Furthermore, applications can now display critical information through floating windows, capsules, or banners, facilitating real-time monitoring of data such as stock market updates.
