Huawei executive Richard Yu confirmed that the new Maextro SUV is currently in the final stages of mass production. The vehicle design is already finalized, and the company is preparing for an official debut, potentially at the Guangzhou Auto Show by the end of this year.
The market launch for the SUV is scheduled for early next year, with sales expected to begin around February or March 2025. Richard Yu noted that the vehicle will be positioned as a high-end luxury model, promising competitive pricing that aims to exceed consumer expectations regarding its premium features.
The upcoming SUV will complete the Maextro luxury lineup, which currently includes the V800 and V680 flagship MPV models launched in August. Once the SUV enters the market, the brand will offer a full range of vehicles, including sedans, MPVs, and SUVs, to address the ultra-luxury segment.
