Huawei has officially launched the Mate 90 Pro smartphone, with prices starting at ¥6 999. The device features a symmetrical design and is available in four colors: Emerald Green, Amber Orange, Crystal White, and Obsidian Black.
The smartphone is powered by the new Kirin 9035 flagship chip. Compared to the Kirin 9030 processor found in the previous Mate 80 Pro, the new chip offers an 11% increase in CPU performance, a 10% boost in GPU, and a 51% improvement in NPU capabilities.
The camera system includes a third-generation Red Maple primary sensor with 37% better color accuracy. It also features a 50 MP RYYB main camera with OIS and a 50 MP RYYB macro telephoto lens supporting 4x optical zoom and 8x optical-quality zoom, alongside a 40 MP RYYB ultra-wide lens.
The entire Mate 90 series incorporates a continuously variable aperture ranging from F1.4 to F4.0, which allows for flicker-free transitions during video recording. Additionally, the Mate 90 Pro utilizes the Kunlun Xuanwu architecture to provide enhanced protection for the screen, body, and camera lenses.
