Honda has officially confirmed that the Civic Type R HRC Concept is currently in development for the US market. The vehicle, which was previously showcased at the Tokyo Auto Salon, will make its North American debut at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, scheduled for November 3 through 6.

The automaker has not yet disclosed technical specifications, pricing, or production timelines for the concept. The design features a revised front bumper, a new rear wing, and winglets above the front fenders, all intended to increase downforce. Potential mechanical upgrades under consideration include a larger intercooler and a new exhaust system.

Beyond the specific concept, Honda Racing Corporation USA is preparing to launch its HRC Performance Parts program. This new line of components for Honda and Acura models will be introduced at the 2026 SEMA Show and will become available for purchase through authorized dealerships and the Honda DreamShop starting in March 2027.
