Elon Musk's AI model, Grok, has released the first seven minutes of its version of the Odyssey. This follows an announcement made three months ago regarding the production of a full-length film.

The project is a collaboration between Grok, Wonder Studios, and director Dave Walker. The footage features AI-generated visuals, including scenes of characters at sea and voice-over narration.

In contrast, the version of the Odyssey directed by Christopher Nolan relied on practical effects and was filmed across six countries with thousands of cast and crew members. Nolan's film was released in July and achieved significant box office success.

Critics note that while some individual shots in the Grok version mimic realistic imagery, the short film lacks narrative pacing and emotional resonance. The dialogue is described as stiff, and the overall presentation fails to sustain viewer engagement.
