Google has officially confirmed that pre-orders for its new Googlebook laptop line will open on September 21 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time. The company has already sent notifications to users who registered their interest on the official event page.
The new hardware is designed to integrate on-device computing power with the Gemini AI ecosystem. Unlike previous cloud-focused devices, the Googlebook series emphasizes local AI processing, low-latency multimodal inference, and advanced multitasking capabilities.
While the pre-order date is set, Google has not yet disclosed the full list of partner brands or specific hardware configurations. Industry expectations suggest that the launch will include both Google-branded reference models and devices from various OEM partners.
The September launch timing is aimed at capturing the end of the back-to-school season and preparing for the holiday shopping period. Analysts are currently monitoring the pricing, chip architecture, and regional availability for the upcoming product rollout.
