Google has launched Playground, an experimental platform for building browser-based games using text prompts. Users can define game rules, physics, characters, and environments without writing code. The platform allows for immediate testing of projects directly within the browser.

The service supports both mobile and desktop browsers. Features include multiplayer modes for specific genres, leaderboards, and social tools like user profiles, subscriptions, and project ratings. All published games are subject to community guidelines review.

Users can keep their creations private, share them via links, or publish them to a public gallery. The amount of available generations is determined by the user's Google AI subscription level. Currently, the platform is restricted to users in the United States aged 18 and older.

Future plans include integration with Unity Spark to enable more complex game logic and 3D graphics. Unity Spark is currently in testing, with a closed beta phase scheduled for the near future. The integration is not yet available at the time of the platform's launch.
