Google has initiated a phased rollout of the new Family Hub management center for Android devices. This update centralizes features previously scattered across Family Link, the Google Play Store, and individual Google account settings into a single interface within the system settings menu.

The new hub is accessible via the Family option located at the top of the system settings page. It provides a comprehensive overview of family group members and manages shared subscriptions, including Google One cloud storage, Google AI services, and YouTube Premium.

Beyond subscription management, the interface displays shared calendar events and real-time location data for family members. It also offers specific recommendations for family administrators to streamline the oversight of various group services.

This integration mirrors the approach used in Apple iOS, where family sharing settings are prominently placed within the main system configuration. Previously, Android users had to navigate multiple menus or download separate applications to manage these functions.
