Google has updated its AI agent, CC, to assist families with household management. The tool integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and web services to organize schedules, meal plans, and shopping lists.
The agent now features its own Google account, allowing up to six family members to collaborate. Users can grant the AI access to specific emails from schools, sports teams, or travel companies to automatically update shared calendars and task lists.
CC operates on an isolated cloud infrastructure powered by Gemini and the Antigravity agentic harness. It can perform tasks such as filling out PDF registration forms, calculating travel times, and creating shared documents.
The service is currently available as an experiment for U.S. users aged 18 and older with personal Gmail accounts. Existing users will receive email invitations to upgrade, while new users must join a waitlist.
