Google announced its new Googlebook laptop series on September 21, 2026. The devices, which feature Gemini AI integration, will be available in stores starting October 4. The company partnered with Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo to manufacture the hardware.
Prices for the new lineup range from $899 to $1,299. The entry-level Acer Googlebook 14 starts at $899. All models include at least 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD storage, with higher configurations offering 512 GB or more.
The laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Panther Lake chips or Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processors, with MediaTek options expected later. The devices support a hybrid environment for Android and ChromeOS apps and offer up to 14 hours of battery life.
Each purchase includes a 12-month subscription to Google AI Pro, three months of YouTube Premium, and limited-time access to Adobe Photoshop and CapCut. A key feature is the Magic Pointer, an AI-driven navigation tool for the trackpad.
