According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is preparing to launch its first MacBook Pro featuring an OLED touchscreen. The new device is expected to be announced on October 27 or 28, with retail sales beginning on November 6.
The upcoming laptop will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch versions. The integration of an OLED panel is intended to improve display quality and color performance. The device will likely be positioned as a high-end addition to the current MacBook Pro lineup, sold alongside existing Mini LED models.
The new hardware will be powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. This shift marks a departure from Apple's long-standing design philosophy regarding touchscreen laptops. The company is also rumored to announce an OLED iPad mini, an iMac with an M6 chip, and an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip during the same period.
