Geoscan has unveiled plans for a new light-class launch vehicle designed to expand its satellite constellation and provide commercial launch services for third-party small satellites. The company aims to conduct the maiden flight of the rocket in 2031.

The two-stage rocket will feature a launch mass of 55,000 kg, a diameter of 2 meters, and a length of 25.9 meters. It will be powered by liquid oxygen-kerosene engines using a pump-fed cycle without gas generator exhaust recycling. The vehicle is designed to carry a payload of up to 900 kg.

Development is currently focused on conceptual design, architecture, and technical documentation. Geoscan is also manufacturing and testing experimental components. Static fire tests for the rocket engines are scheduled for 2028–2029, preceding the planned 2031 launch.

The project includes the development of a comprehensive ground infrastructure, covering production facilities, testing sites, logistics, and telemetry systems. Geoscan intends to manage core technologies internally while utilizing external industrial partnerships for mature, off-the-shelf components.
