Per Ansgar, CEO of Geely Sweden Holdings, has joined the board of the Concordium Foundation. This appointment strengthens a partnership between the two organizations that began in 2021 and previously resulted in a joint venture in Wuxi, China.
Ansgar brings over 26 years of experience from roles at Volvo Cars, Polestar, and the Geely group. His expertise is expected to support Concordium as it focuses on machine-initiated payments and verified AI agents within the automotive sector.
Concordium is developing blockchain infrastructure to address identity and accountability for autonomous systems. The platform links transactions to verified identities, allowing software to conduct financial operations while maintaining security.
In May 2026, the company launched its Agent Registry, which has since registered more than 1,600 AI agents. These agents receive a verification badge that functions across networks including Ethereum and Solana.
The board of the Concordium Foundation is chaired by Lars Seier Christensen. Other members include Ueli Maurer, a cryptography professor at ETH Zurich, as well as Simone Monnerat and Nibras Stiebar-Bang.
