Geely has reached a production milestone of one million units for its EX2 electric hatchback, known as the Xingyuan in China. The company achieved this figure on October 20, 2026, exactly two years after the vehicle's market debut.

The production ramp-up saw the company hit 200,000 units by May 2025, 600,000 by March 2026, and 800,000 by August 2026. In China, retail sales reached 465,775 units in 2025 and 310,391 units during the first nine months of 2026.

The EX2 is currently available in Latin America, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the UK, sometimes marketed as the E2. Local assembly operations started in Purwakarta, Indonesia, in January 2026, with production in Brazil scheduled to begin in December 2026.

Built on the Global Intelligent Electric Architecture, the vehicle features a rear-mounted motor and independent multi-link rear suspension. It offers two motor options of 58 kW or 85 kW and uses Aegis Short Blade LFP batteries with capacities of 30.12 kWh or 40.16 kWh.

A May 2026 update introduced a 480 km CLTC range version and the Flyme Auto 2.0 cockpit system. Promotional pricing for the 2026 lineup starts at ¥61,800, while the top-tier version is priced at ¥83,800 after a subsidy.
