Geely Galaxy announced the upcoming debut of the new Galaxy E5 model, scheduled for September 23. Alongside the vehicle launch, the company will introduce its next-generation AI-powered charging technology, which promises improved safety and efficiency.
The updated Galaxy E5 features a revised exterior design with a reinforced front bumper, new decorative elements, and an active grille. The vehicle is equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, additional cameras on the fenders, and privacy glass for the second-row windows.
The dimensions of the new model are 4,636 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. The car now features traditional door handles instead of the previously used hidden design and offers 18-inch or 19-inch wheel options.
The powertrain consists of a single electric motor with a maximum output of 245 kW, which is an increase of 85 kW compared to the current version. The chassis retains the front MacPherson strut and rear multi-link independent suspension configuration.
