Geely is considering the production of its Galaxy Starship 700 model at the Ford factory in Almussafes, Valencia, Spain. This move would expand the existing partnership between the two automotive companies.

The Galaxy Starship 700 is built on the GTA all-terrain architecture and features a 2.0T turbocharged engine paired with a three-motor hybrid system. The vehicle delivers a combined output of 1113 horsepower.

The collaboration between Geely and Ford currently focuses on the GEA global intelligent new energy architecture. Previous plans included the production of the Star model, with further intentions to manufacture small and mid-sized SUVs in Valencia.

Ford also plans to develop a Bronco model based on the Kuga platform and another SUV utilizing the GEA architecture. Geely aims to increase its European product lineup from the current four models to 11 by 2028.
