Geely Auto has officially entered the Swiss market, marking a new phase in its European expansion strategy. The company held a launch event in Zurich on September 16, where it presented three vehicle models: the E5 battery electric compact SUV, the E2 battery electric crossover, and the Starray EM-i mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV.

The launch event included test drives and was attended by over 100 guests, including dealers, partners, and media representatives. Geely stated that it plans to expand its local product lineup in Switzerland to meet consumer demand for quality, safety, and sustainable mobility.

The company reports strong international growth, with overseas sales reaching 110,094 units in August, a 205 percent year-on-year increase. For the first eight months of the year, cumulative overseas sales totaled 690,985 units, representing a 170 percent rise compared to the same period last year.

Geely's global performance shows that international business is a primary growth driver. Total sales for August reached 270,194 units, while cumulative sales for the first eight months of the year hit 1,943,313 units. New energy vehicles remain central to the company's portfolio, accounting for 65 percent of total sales in August.
