Caocao Mobility, in collaboration with Geely and partners, has completed the first engineering prototype of the Eva Cab robotaxi. The vehicle is designed specifically for autonomous transport, with a focus on passenger comfort, safety, and commercial operations. The project has now moved into the testing phase for the full-scale model.

The robotaxi is built on the Full-Domain AI 2.0 platform and utilizes the EEA 4.0 electronic architecture, which incorporates quantum data protection technologies. The computing system integrates Nvidia SuperChip and Thor U solutions alongside the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797, delivering a total performance exceeding 3000 TOPS to support Level 4 autonomous driving.

The vehicle features a digital lidar with a resolution of 2160 lines, a first for mass-produced units. This sensor generates up to 25.92 million points per second and can detect objects at distances of up to 600 meters. Additionally, the developers report a sevenfold increase in WAM model parameters and a threefold improvement in processing frequency.

Mass production of the specialized Eva Cab version is scheduled to begin in 2027. The vehicle was initially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April.
