Gamma Tech Inc. has launched Gamma 5, a major update to its AI-powered presentation platform. The new version features a redesigned editor, an enhanced AI agent, and a library containing thousands of templates. The platform integrates more than 20 AI models from providers including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google, alongside various image generation tools.
The updated editor allows users to manipulate individual elements and layouts with greater freedom. The AI agent operates within a sandbox environment, enabling it to write custom code, draw shapes, and perform web research. Automated checks are included to resolve common design issues like text overflow or awkward image cropping.
Gamma 5 introduces approximately 20 connectors to integrate external data from services such as Salesforce, Slack, Granola, Fireflies, and Fathom. The platform also supports the import of existing PDFs and PowerPoint files, with internal benchmarks showing visual accuracy for imports has increased from roughly 30% to over 97%.
The company reports that users can reduce the time required to create presentations from 8–10 hours to approximately 30 minutes. Future development plans include expanding graphic design and video generation capabilities, as well as implementing workflows that automatically update sales presentations based on new data from connected business applications.
