FingerprintJS Inc. has expanded its platform to address the growing challenge of identifying AI traffic. The new suite includes Authorized AI Agent Detection, AI Assistant Detection, the Automation Intelligence API, and the Fingerprint MCP Server.
The Authorized AI Agent Detection tool cryptographically verifies agents from providers such as OpenAI, AWS AgentCore, Browserbase, Manus, and Anchor Browser. AI Assistant Detection analyzes direct HTTP traffic from services like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude without relying on client-side JavaScript.
The Automation Intelligence API, currently in preview, classifies automated traffic at the network edge or backend. It provides context on IP and network risks, including VPN, proxy, and Tor usage. The Fingerprint MCP Server is now generally available, allowing authorized AI assistants to interact with device intelligence data.
Research from theCUBE indicates that 55% of organizations have deployed autonomous AI agents, with 60.5% expecting to do so within 18 months. However, only 20.2% of respondents currently use enterprise-wide AI deployments built on governed frameworks.
