Ferrari has officially announced the U.S. pricing for its new all-electric Luce sedan, which will start at $560,800. This figure is notably lower than initial market estimates of $640,000, though it remains significantly higher than the price of the V12-powered Purosangue, which retails for $438,610.
In Europe, the starting price for the Luce is set at €550,000, a figure that includes VAT. Despite its high cost, the vehicle has already reached its initial sales target, securing approximately 500 orders within the first two months of availability. The model has seen particular interest in the Chinese market.
The company plans to limit production of the Luce, with total sales expected to reach approximately 2,500 units by 2030. For comparison, the Ferrari 849 Testarossa, featuring a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 and three electric motors, starts at $565,685, while the 12Cilindri model is priced from $468,594.
Earlier this year, an initial unit of the Luce model was sold at an auction for $40 million. The four-door sedan represents a departure from the brand's traditional design language, positioning it as a distinct addition to the existing Ferrari fleet rather than a high-volume product.
