The Exon platform has updated its 'Act Construction' module to include an AI-powered tool for comparing contract estimate versions. This feature allows users to transfer previously confirmed work volumes from an old estimate version to a new one, streamlining the transition process.

Previously, the system relied on a custom algorithm that matched items based on structure, such as section names and sequence numbers. This approach failed when identical work descriptions appeared in different sections, leading to errors in data reconciliation.

The new AI-based tool identifies items regardless of their location in the document structure. It also highlights discrepancies, such as instances where actual work volumes exceed those in the new estimate or when specific items have been removed from the updated version.

According to project manager Anastasia Pervova, the update aims to reduce the manual labor involved in reconciling hundreds of line items. By automating the comparison process, the system allows specialists to begin generating adjustment acts more efficiently.
