Evos, a startup building autonomous AI operators for logistics and manufacturing, has secured $9 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was co-led by Uncork Capital and Field Ventures, with participation from Crosslink Capital, Utopia Capital Management, and Sandwith Ventures.

The company provides autonomous operators that integrate into existing business software like TMS, WMS, and ERP systems. These agents learn tasks from experienced employees and operate with adjustable autonomy, starting in a shadow mode to ensure decision accuracy before taking over functions.

Evos reported achieving $1 million in annual recurring revenue within four weeks of its initial deployments. One freight brokerage client used an operator to process nearly 3,500 invoice audit decisions with 97% accuracy, closing over $600,000 in invoice value in five weeks.

The platform is designed for small and mid-sized businesses in the physical economy, where the company notes that 99.3% of US motor carriers operate fewer than 100 trucks. Evos plans to launch its Workhorse platform soon and expand its team to approximately 16 employees by year-end.
