ETFBOOK, known as SquaredData AG, secured $13 million in a funding round led by Expedition Growth Capital. Existing investor BlackFin Capital Partners also participated in the transaction. The capital will support the company's international expansion into the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions.

The platform provides standardized data infrastructure and analytics for the exchange-traded fund market. Its services are utilized by fund issuers, administrators, market makers, and buy-side investors. The company aims to address the data fragmentation challenges as global ETF assets under management reach $25 trillion, with projections hitting $35 trillion by 2030.

The company plans to establish a US entity with an office in New York and build a team in Hong Kong. Additionally, it will increase hiring at its delivery hub in Krakow. The investment will also fund the development of an AI conversational layer and tools for data ingestion, processing, and distribution to automate core operations.

ETFBOOK offers services across three main areas: Data, which provides API access to standardized information; Analytics, delivered via a web application; and Workforce, which integrates verified data with client workflows. The expansion aims to broaden product offerings and deepen data coverage across more global markets.
