Dublin-based LearnUpon has secured €44.5 million in growth financing from Claret Capital Partners. The deal is structured to provide capital without diluting the stakes of existing shareholders. The investment will support product development for the company's new agentic learning platform, international market expansion, and future strategic acquisitions.
Claret Capital Partners, a London-based debt fund, has previously deployed over €1.5 billion across more than 210 companies. The firm has raised a total of €1.3 billion since its inception in 2013. Its current fund is supported by institutional investors, including the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund.
Founded in 2012 by Brendan Noud and Des Anderson, LearnUpon provides learning management software to enterprises and small businesses. The company maintains offices in Dublin, London, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Sydney, and Belgrade. Its platform is used for workforce development and customer education.
The company recently launched an Agentic Learning Platform following years of research and development. This system automates administrative tasks, such as content curation and skill gap analysis, by using AI agents to handle execution while keeping human decision-making separate. This shift aims to reduce the administrative burden on corporate teams.
LearnUpon has been active in M&A, acquiring the Berlin-based platform Courseau in November 2025. The acquired tool was rebranded as CreateUpon in May 2026 to focus on AI-native course authoring. The company plans to use the new funding to continue this strategy of growth and innovation in the enterprise learning sector.
