Amsterdam-based fintech startup Duqu has secured €1.5 million in funding. The company intends to use the capital to expand its core business of providing short-term advances against outstanding invoices and to scale its white-label AI underwriting technology for external financial institutions.
Founded in October 2025 by Maas de Goede, Victor Brouwer, and Diederik Nassenstein, Duqu offers a platform where businesses can receive advances on B2B invoices without selling the receivables. The company reports that 47% of B2B invoices in Western Europe are overdue, creating cash flow gaps for companies.
The platform provides funds within 24 hours of approval, often within an hour. Users pay a fee only when utilizing an advance, with no minimum or maximum transaction limits. Since its launch, the startup has processed €4.6 million in applications, with €1.2 million advanced to its nearly 1,500 users.
Duqu has developed a proprietary AI underwriting engine that currently automates 95% of the credit assessment process. This technology is offered as a white-label solution to banks, lenders, and leasing firms, allowing them to automate applications while maintaining their own credit policies.
