Dogecoin Labs, an independent organization established in collaboration with the Dogecoin Foundation, was announced on October 21, 2026. The entity consolidates the development teams behind three projects: the MyDoge wallet, the DogeOS app layer, and the Such App commerce platform.
The MyDoge wallet has surpassed 500,000 users. DogeOS, an EVM-compatible app layer designed to support smart contracts, launched its public testnet, Chikyū, on September 30, 2026. Previously, in May 2025, DogeOS secured $6.9 million in seed funding led by Polychain Capital.
Such App focuses on merchant tools, including invoicing and QR code payments, with an initial launch window scheduled for the first half of 2026. Integration is underway, with MyDoge already incorporating features from the DogeOS layer to expand the utility of DOGE in DeFi, gaming, and commerce.
