DNS has launched a closed beta test for its new online marketplace platform. The company is transitioning from a traditional electronics retailer to a multi-category trading platform, following a similar move by M.Video earlier in 2026.
The platform operates exclusively under the Fulfillment by Operator (FBO) model, requiring sellers to store their inventory in DNS warehouses. The company charges a commission of up to 25%, which covers logistics, storage, and payment processing fees.
DNS currently plans to utilize warehouses in seven Russian cities, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Vladimir, Yekaterinburg, and Krasnodar. The company has not yet disclosed the full list of locations or the timeline for the public launch.
The retailer previously dismissed the idea of becoming a marketplace. In April 2025, the company published a statement denying such plans, and in 2021, co-owner Sergey Meshchanyuk stated that the company preferred to focus on its core specialization.
