Diasoft has updated its Metadata Catalog, part of the Digital Q.DataFactory solution, by adding artificial intelligence features and integration with 1C databases. The update includes automated business glossary population, which the company claims reduces manual labor by 60-70%.
The new 1C connector automatically extracts object data, tables, and relationships, establishing data lineage. It supports both one-time scanning and scheduled synchronization, allowing users to track data flow from 1C to analytical storage and reporting systems.
The integration with the BIRT Report Generator enables end-to-end data lineage tracking. This mechanism helps analyze how structural data changes affect reports and assists in regression testing by mapping data paths from source tables to final reports.
A new MCP server allows AI agents on the Digital Q.Agents platform to access metadata, enabling users to generate SQL queries using natural language. These results can also be used to create dashboards in Digital Q.Sensor BI with automated visualization settings.
The Metadata Catalog is built on a microservices architecture and is compatible with the broader Digital Q ecosystem, including DataFlows, Security, BPM, and DataBase. The product complies with Russian legislation, such as 152-FZ, and includes vendor support.
