Denza, a BYD subsidiary, has launched the all-electric N8L SUV in China. The vehicle is available in two trim levels, priced at ¥299 800 and ¥329 800 respectively. This pricing makes the electric model ¥20 000 cheaper than the entry-level hybrid version of the N8L.
The SUV measures 5200 mm in length, 1999 mm in width, and 1820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3075 mm. The interior features a six-seat configuration arranged in a 2+2+2 layout, with individual seats provided for the second row.
The vehicle is equipped with a second-generation 130.15 kWh Blade Battery, offering a range of 960 km under the CLTC cycle. Its 800-volt architecture allows the battery to charge from 10% to 97% in approximately 9 minutes. The initial launch includes a rear-wheel-drive model with a 370 kW electric motor.
The N8L integrates the God’s Eye 5.0 driver assistance system, which utilizes a lidar, five millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and 12 cameras. The system supports highway and urban navigation, as well as fully automated parking capabilities.
The cabin includes a six-screen display system, an AR-HUD, and a digital rearview mirror. Additionally, the N8L is the first vehicle to feature the BYD DiClaw AI agent, which handles multi-step commands such as route planning and smart home device control.
