Denza, a premium brand under BYD, has introduced an all-electric version of its N8L SUV. Previously, the six-seat vehicle was available exclusively as a plug-in hybrid model. The new BEV variant is built on an 800-volt architecture and features a 130.15-kWh second-generation Blade Battery.
The vehicle is available in two configurations: the Flash Charging Prestige, priced at ¥299 800, and the Flash Charging Flagship, which costs ¥329 800. The SUV is equipped with a rear-mounted motor delivering 370 kW of power, providing a CLTC-rated range of 960 kilometers.
The N8L measures 5,200 mm in length and includes a 208-liter powered front trunk. The vehicle features the DiSus-A body control system with dual-chamber air suspension and rear-wheel steering, which allows for a turning radius of 4.58 meters. The God's Eye 5.0 system provides navigation-assisted driving and automated parking.
BYD continues to expand its infrastructure for flash charging technology. As of August 28, the company had installed 10 000 charging stations across China, with plans to increase this number to 20 000 by the end of the year. At these stations, compatible vehicles can charge from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes.
