Zhuhai CosMX announced that it provides battery cells and packs for the Honor Magic 9 Pro Max, which was released on September 28. The battery features a silicon content of 40%, achieving an energy density of 1000Wh/L and a total capacity of 8800mAh, setting a new record for flagship smartphones.

To manage the expansion associated with high-silicon anodes, CosMX implemented a new proprietary binder and a low-expansion composite formula. These technical improvements enhance cycle stability and safety during charging and discharging processes.

The battery supports 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging. Additionally, the device is compatible with 50W in-car wireless charging for over 300 vehicle models. CosMX utilizes an ultra-thin coating process to optimize lithium-ion transport paths for efficient power replenishment.

CosMX continues to supply components for flagship devices from major manufacturers, including Apple, Huawei, Samsung, Xiaomi, Honor, and OPPO. The company's current portfolio covers various high-end product form factors, such as standard slab phones and foldable devices.
