Copado Inc. has expanded its Agentia platform by introducing Headless automation. The new feature integrates the company's AI-powered AgentOps tools directly into developer terminals and code editors using the Model Context Protocol and command-line interfaces.

The update allows AI agents to function as background operators rather than simple chat assistants. These agents can now execute commands across the entire Copado suite to manage governance, team coordination, and conflict detection without requiring developers to switch tools.

Copado reports that its platform helps teams address inefficiencies in software delivery. For example, one customer previously spent 216 hours annually on manual deployment steps, while another required 10 days to validate 2,000 production configurations.

The company claims that Agentia’s embedded governance and testing capabilities can enable enterprise teams to increase their delivery speed by up to 70%. These improvements aim to reduce production defects and minimize time spent on administrative tasks.

Agentia was originally launched in April to facilitate Salesforce-first automation. According to Chief Product Officer Rajit Joseph, the transition from traditional DevOps to AgentOps represents a shift in software delivery that necessitates platform reinvention.
