Confido, an AI-powered platform for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, has secured $55 million in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by Insight Partners, with participation from Trenches Capital, Watchfire, Barrel Ventures, and existing investors Footwork and Y Combinator. This latest injection of capital brings the company's total funding to $77 million.

The platform unifies finance, accounting, sales, and operations for CPG companies. It automates deduction resolution, trade spend tracking, and forecasting. According to the company, more than 250 brands, including Unilever, Mars, Daisy, Dude Wipes, and Kettle & Fire, currently use the software. Collectively, these clients route over $30 billion in retail sales planning through the system.

Confido reports a 5x year-over-year growth since its previous funding round. The company operates on a yearly subscription model, offering tools designed to improve operational efficiency and protect margins. The broader CPG industry is estimated at $2.5 trillion, with the supporting software market exceeding $100 billion annually.

In the coming months, Confido plans to expand its AI capabilities and introduce new agent-driven workflows to further automate back-office tasks. The company intends to invest in product development and team expansion to meet increasing demand. The long-term goal is to establish the platform as the primary operating system for consumer brands globally.
