The crypto exchange CoinW and Tether have launched a joint initiative called Tether Ark. Users can deposit USDT or XAUT tokens into Earn products to earn yields paid in tokenized gold. The maximum annual percentage yield for this program is 12%.
Participation in the campaign is open until December 15, 2026. The program features six distinct products, five of which accept USDT while one accepts XAUT. Allocations for each product are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
XAUT is a Tether Gold token backed by one troy ounce of physical gold. As of June 30, 2026, Tether reported reserves of approximately 22 tons of gold stored in Switzerland. According to CoinGecko, the market capitalization of XAUT exceeds $3.2 billion.
Yields for flexible products are distributed daily, while fixed products pay out every 30 days. Payouts are issued in XAUT regardless of the initial deposit asset. Users activating the XAUT Auto-Earn feature may receive a bonus that covers trading losses on futures.
