The National Development and Reform Commission of China announced that the country currently holds a leading global position in the growth rate and application scale of artificial intelligence. Officials noted that AI technologies are transitioning from laboratory settings into practical use cases across agriculture, manufacturing, and office environments.
In the agricultural sector, AI tools enable more precise field management, which significantly reduces the consumption of fertilizers and pesticides. Meanwhile, in the service industry, intelligent agents are automating complex tasks such as contract auditing, customs declarations, tax filings, and insurance claims, fostering new operational models.
China is actively advancing the operational framework of the World AI Cooperation Organization, which has already secured 38 founding member nations. Recent data from the China Center for Information Industry Development indicates that the volume of AI inference data in the country has surpassed training data for the first time.
This shift in data usage patterns serves as a key indicator that China's artificial intelligence sector has successfully transitioned from the research and model training phase into a period of large-scale industrial application.
