Chery has officially unveiled the Tiggo X7, the first model in its new Tiggo X series. The vehicle is designed with a rugged, boxy aesthetic to appeal to consumers interested in outdoor activities and light off-road capabilities.
The Tiggo X7 features significant exterior modifications compared to existing models, including extensive plastic cladding on the bumpers and wheel arches. It is equipped with high-profile all-terrain tires to enhance its off-road character while maintaining comfort for family use.
Alongside the Tiggo X7, the company introduced the new generation Tiggo 7. While the exterior design remains similar to the current version, Chery states that the internal structure of the vehicle has been completely redesigned.
Chery has established a new research and development base at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, UK. Managing Director of Chery UK, Farrell Hsu, noted that this facility will be instrumental in the local tuning of future models for the British market.
