Changan UK has officially named Ohme as its preferred partner for home electric vehicle charging. Customers can now purchase Ohme hardware and book installation services directly through the manufacturer's dealership network across the United Kingdom.

The partnership includes dealer training and support from Ohme. Both companies intend to collaborate on future home charging solutions and vehicle-to-grid technology, though specific details regarding these joint projects remain undisclosed at this time.

Ohme estimates that a full charge for the Changan Deepal S05, which features a 68.8kWh battery and a 303-mile WLTP range, could cost as little as £5.50. This calculation assumes the use of a dynamic electricity tariff priced at £0.08 per kWh.

Changan entered the UK market last year with the Deepal S07 SUV. The company initially launched with 20 dealerships and plans to increase this number to 50 by the end of the year. The Deepal S05 model joined the lineup in February 2026.
