The five-door Changan Lumin Plus electric hatchback has arrived at dealerships across China. This new variant features an elongated body, which is 245 mm longer than the original three-door model. The vehicle measures 3515 mm in length, 1715 mm in width, and 1545 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2200 mm. The increased length provides additional legroom for rear passengers.

The interior of the Lumin Plus includes a touchscreen on the center console, an LCD instrument cluster, and a D-shaped three-spoke steering wheel. The rear seats offer a 5/5 split-folding configuration. The vehicle is equipped with a single electric motor producing a peak power output of 35 kW. The estimated CLTC range for the hatchback is between 205 and 301 km.

The original three-door Changan Lumin launched in June 2022 with a starting price of ¥48 900. Changan has delivered 552 599 units of the Lumin series to date. However, domestic deliveries from January to September 2026 reached 38 064 units, representing a 69.4% year-over-year decline. The company expects to launch the five-door model in November 2026 to address market demand.
