Austrian company Easelink has partnered with the manufacturing firm Luxshare to bring its Matrix Charging system to the Chinese market. This technology features a connector located under the vehicle that interfaces with a charging pad installed on the ground.

The collaboration focuses on integrating Matrix Charging into upcoming vehicle platforms for various original equipment manufacturers. Luxshare will incorporate this automated charging solution into its existing automotive product portfolio to serve its clients.

Easelink intends to grow its local team in China to support technical development and project coordination with Luxshare and local automotive partners. Both companies are participating in the Matrix Charging Interest Group to promote standardization and interoperability.

The companies aim to integrate the technology into existing automotive value chains within China. This move is driven by the increasing demand for automated charging solutions as the adoption of self-driving vehicles continues to advance in the region.
