Production of the Votour V5 crossover has officially commenced at the AGR holding plant in Sestroretsk, Saint Petersburg. This model marks the second vehicle produced at the facility under the partnership between AGR and Defetoo, following the launch of the Tenet Plus L4.
The plant underwent a significant modernization in the first half of 2026 to prepare for the new production line. The facility is now equipped with 175 robots in the welding shop and 54 in the paint shop. The assembly line features autonomous guided vehicles, advanced robotic systems, and computer vision for quality control.
The Votour V5 features a fastback-style body with a sloping roofline, 19-inch alloy wheels, two-tier LED lighting, and flush door handles. The manufacturing process includes automated wax treatment for hidden cavities and the application of anti-gravel and noise-dampening coatings.
Sales of the new crossover are scheduled to begin in November 2026. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed specific technical specifications or trim levels, promising to release these details at a later date.
