Causa Prima, a developer of autonomous finance platforms for businesses, has secured $20 million in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Base10 Partners, with participation from QED Investors, FJ Labs, Creandum, Kfund, and Borusan Ventures.

This latest round follows a $10 million pre-seed investment raised just three months earlier, bringing the startup's total funding to $30 million. The company was founded by CEO Maex Ament, Henrik Gebbing, and Philip Stanislaus.

The platform uses autonomous agents to automate inter-company financial processes, such as invoice approvals, dispute resolution, and payment negotiations. The technology aims to replace manual email exchanges with automated interactions to improve working capital management.

The startup has already onboarded multi-billion-dollar enterprise clients and reports over 3,000 active accounts within its business networks. The new capital will support the company's expansion into the US market and further development of its financial infrastructure.
