CarNewsChina has launched a new video series featuring one-minute reviews of Chinese-made vehicles. The project aims to provide insights into the local automotive industry and its products. Denis Bobylev, who has covered the Chinese car market for over six years, serves as the host for the series.

The content will be available on YouTube, with new episodes released every Monday and Friday. The first season includes coverage of various vehicle segments, ranging from luxury models like the Zeekr 9X and mass-market crossovers such as the Changan Nevo Q05 to cars from defunct brands like Weltmeister E.5.

The reviews incorporate market context derived from the China EV DataTracker tool, which contains over 2,000,000 data points. The inaugural video focuses on the Geely Galaxy M7 plug-in hybrid SUV. The publication emphasizes that its reviews are independent and not sponsored by automakers.

The outlet, which has been operating for 16 years, obtains vehicles for testing through rentals or dealer visits rather than official manufacturer-sponsored events. Viewers are encouraged to suggest specific car models for future episodes and support the platform through subscriptions.
