BYD has officially unveiled the second generation of its Seal 07 sedan. The vehicle features the brand's updated Ocean Aesthetics 2.0 design language, which aligns the model with the visual style of the Seal 08. The exterior includes a closed-grille front, split wave-shaped headlights, and a full-width rear taillight assembly.
The new sedan is designed to support both plug-in hybrid and battery electric powertrains. The vehicle architecture now includes a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, indicating the integration of the proprietary God’s Eye B driver-assistance system. Buyers can select from multiple wheel configurations ranging from 18 to 19 inches in size.
The manufacturer has increased the physical dimensions of the sedan compared to the previous generation to provide more interior cabin space. Additional design elements include a panoramic sunroof and semi-hidden door handles. According to industry data, BYD delivered 1,005 units of the current Seal 07 model to customers during August 2026.
