BYD has officially unveiled the interior design of its second-generation Seal 07 sedan. The updated cabin features a redesigned steering wheel, center console trim, and air vent layout, while retaining the signature large floating central display and digital instrument cluster.
The vehicle emphasizes passenger comfort with luxury seats that offer zero-gravity positioning, massage, ventilation, and heating functions. The interior is equipped with a 20-speaker Devialet audio system and is marketed as having the largest rear-seat space in its class.
Positioned as a C-class family sedan, the exterior showcases a sharper front-end design with new daytime running lights, a fastback silhouette, and semi-hidden door handles. The vehicle also features a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor for advanced driver assistance capabilities.
According to Ministry of Industry and Information Technology filings, the sedan measures 5080mm in length, 1960mm in width, and 1495mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2960mm. It is designed to accommodate five passengers and will be available in both pure electric and plug-in hybrid configurations.
The pure electric variant utilizes permanent magnet synchronous motors produced by Xi'an BYD Automotive Components. It offers two power outputs: a 245kW version weighing 1975kg and a 300kW version weighing 2060kg. Both models use lithium iron phosphate batteries and reach a top speed of 240 km/h.
